Who we are
Is Africa impoverished? Our assertion is that Africa's challenge is not poverty, but rather, it's poor leadership.
So, C-Life is actively working to transform the prevailing narrative of deficient servant leadership in Africa.
So, C-Life is actively working to transform the prevailing narrative of deficient servant leadership in Africa.
C-Life stands for Christian Life. We are an African-led, Christian non-profit organization.
We exist to develop the next generation of African servant leaders, spiritually and professionally for the marketplace in Africa.
We are located in Yaoundé, Cameroon (West-Central Africa).
Developing servant leaders is not easy, it takes time and intentionality. That is why we chose a community-focused leadership development approach, recognizing that meaningful life change thrives within the context of community.
Our core belief is that training marketplace servant leaders who reverence God and are accountable to their communities, holds the potential to rectify the rampant corruption and instability plaguing numerous African economies.
Foundation Verse: Don’t let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity.
(1Tim 4:12)

Our History
=C-Life was founded by Sheila Ngolesueh in 2015 after her internship experience in South Sudan.
"In South Sudan, I witnessed a beautiful country ravaged by 40 years of war, despite the presence of numerous long-term international peacekeeping NGOs." _ Sheila Ngolesueh (C-Life Founder)
This exposure caused me to wrestle with many gnawing questions.
How do you really make a difference in Africa?
How can you love Africa? Is Africa really poor? How does the Church play an active role in shaping policy and systems, while at the same time fighting corruption?
The question I was really asking was:
"How can we cultivate biblical character among Africa's professionals while also fostering enduring socio-economic development within a backdrop of corruption, religious extremism, and tribal conflicts?"
After many months of prayer and mentorship, the answer seemed clear but not easy. The answer was a revelation to my calling in life.
How do you make a difference in Africa?
You develop servant leaders. Leaders who fear God and serve their people with integrity and excellence. Leaders who prioritize the well-being and interests of their people over personal gain. Leaders who hold their Christian identity above their tribal identity.
That is the journey C-Life has been on for the last 7 years. Join us!
Sheila Ngolesueh is also the current President of C-Life. She holds an International Business degree from Nairobi, Kenya, an MBA from Baylor University, and a master's in Christian Education from Dallas Theological Seminary in the USA. With a background in retail leadership, she's been active in learning and development programs, and international missions within nonprofits and the Church. Sheila resides in Dallas, Texas, with her husband Divine and their two young children.

What we believe
C-Life is where we live out a dream that our Christian faith and our profession are interconnect. Living out our Christian faith in how we do our work, can be an answer to sustainable community development.
We live out the dream of empowering young African professionals to be grounded in their true identity, inspired by their giftedness and passions, discover their purpose-driven work and understand that their work done well is a form of worship to God.
We believe that the beauty and impact of our professional work is tied to God’s calling on our lives and our intimacy with God through Jesus Christ. Our faith provides the grace to live as Christ-centered servant leaders even in a culture overshadowed by corruption, greed and tribalism.
