C-life is delighted to present to you Yvonne Gabgah Yelum Nkongho a Court Registrar at the Court of First Instance in Kumba, having 2 kids, and a C-Life Cohort 5 Alumnus. Previously, she worked with an Architectural Firm as a Secretary for the past 10 years: no salary increase, no work satisfaction, no promotions; just turning in circles. it was then she knew she needed help and fortunately she found herself in C-Life’s servant leadership Fellowship (SLF) Program. When she heard about the wonderful work God is doing to Cameroonian youths through C-Life, she had no reason to hesitate than to benefit from the transformation. The module that set her soul on fire was Self Leadership: Leading self-first. One cannot be a good leader without leading self-first. ‘Self, the greatest leadership problem’. Yvonne’s transformation started two weeks into the program, as she started seeing changes in her lifestyle, career and could pray more often. As a result of this transformation, her sacrifices, persistence and determination have been paid off and Yvonne is now presently a state agent (Civil Servant) working as a court registrar at the court of first instance Kumba and gives thanks to God for using C-life to take her to this level. To Yvonne, Life is not all about work but after work; you have to take some time off to relax and feel free. During this free time, as a mum, Yvonne loves cooking and for the sake of knowledge and effectiveness, she takes reading as a hobby. She reads articles, magazines and novels.
